When to change your vape pod

If you received a vape kit as a Christmas present or vaping is part of your New Year commitment to packing up smoking then it’s important you understand how to get the most out of your vape. Using premium liquid is recommended but one of the most important things knows when to change your vape pod.

The most obvious sign is a burnt or stale taste when vaping. An empty pod causes the element to burn out, hence that charred taste.

Another sign is darker vape juice. As it oxidises, the liquid darkens and, while a little darkening is ok, once it gets thick and sludgy it will taste bad and damage your device.

If you get a dry hit when inhaling you’re probably running out of juice. Refilling is recommended to prevent damage or, if your pod is quite old anyway, it may be worth replacing.

Build up in the coil can indicate your liquid is past its prime or that your pod needs replacing.

At Artisan Vapours we stock replacements for many models including the Snowwolf Afeng replacement pod and many other popular replacement pods. Check out our website or call us to discover our full range or for any vaping queries.
